The company was co-founded in 2011 by George Kurtz, Dmitri Alperovitch, and Gregg Marston. Its primary product is the CrowdStrike Falcon platform. In May 2014, the company's reports aided the U.S. Department of Justice in charging five Chinese military hackers with economic cyber espionage. Epic Games, Inc. is an American video game and software developer and publisher based in Cary, North Carolina. The company was founded in 1991 by Tim Sweeney. Epic Games developed the Unreal Engine, a commercially available game engine that also powers its internally developed video games, such as Fortnite and the Unreal and Gears of War series. In 2014, Unreal Engine was named the most successful videogame engine by Guinness World Records. The company owns game developers Psyonix, Mediatonic, and Harmonix.
