Headquartered in Starbase, Texas, the company develops launch vehicles, satellite constellations, and spacecraft. It was founded in 2002 by Elon Musk with the goal of reducing space transportation costs and enabling the colonization of Mars. Notable achievements include the Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy rockets, the Dragon spacecraft, and the Starlink satellite internet constellation.
